While on my way to work, I realized I left my phone on the kitchen counter...I had a mini panic attack. It is sad that I am that reliant on my phone...what the hell did we ever do before they were invented?
sad, isn't it? my phone died last night and i felt so weird without knowing it was on in case someone texted or called me. i mean what if someone NEEDED me?! of course when i plugged it in and turned it back on later - there were no messages. obviously i was overreacting. but i am very dependant on that thing. i freak out if i forget it. that is gonna be the one time i wreck my car or something happens and of course i don't have my phone!
That's exactly how I feel...I drive an hour to work so Im worried something will happen and I will be stranded on the side of the road with no phone. PLUS, I can't have my daily texting chat with my friend...Im bummed!
I literally feel like a piece of me is missing if I don't have my phone. And I used to leave and drive 7 hours to go visit friends and never needed one! Now I can't drive 4 blocks to the store without it.... LOL
I know exactly what you mean! But before cell phones we spent a lot of time p*ssed-off. Trying to find your spouse at the store, at the designated meeting spot, find out where your kids is, driving around lost in someone else's neighborhood. ;-)
Oh, and thanks for visiting my blog! http://myexurbia.blogspot.com/
